Hi, welcome to White Umbrella! I’m David - professional wedding photographer, part-time snowboard-bum, and husband to my wonderful wife, Phoebe. White Umbrella is my photography company I started around 4 years ago- all from a growing desire to experience more out of life.   I’ve been working on for the past few years, and I’m stoked to finally share it with all you newly engaged couples out there!

Every wedding I’ve had the honor of photographing has been an amazing experience, and just a down-right celebration. I always find myself smiling ear to ear at the end of each wedding day, being reminded of how rad it is to love someone, and to also be loved. I can’t thank enough to the couples, who over the past few years, gave me the opportunity to capture their most intimate and celebrated moments.

I’m here to capture your first day of a lifelong journey of love and commitment - in the most artistic, candid, and timeless way I know. My passion for photography continually drives me to improve my storytelling skills with every couple I work alongside. The Process

  • Step 1

    Once you're ready to start an inquiry, go to the 'contact' page and provide some basic info about yourself and which service you are looking for. If you're not seeing a certain service, feel free to email me a description of your situation and I'll see how I can help.

  • Step 2

    I'll respond within 24 hours and provide an email + phone consultation at no cost, where I answer any and every question you may have about services, options, pricing. Overall, this time is spent just getting to know how I can help you and see if I’d be a good fit for your vendor team : )

  • Step 3

    If everything feels good and right, we’ll finalize everything via contract. You put down a 15% deposit to secure your date, and then we have a final meeting one month before the wedding to review the day-of timeline.
