WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I live in Aurora, Colorado, and most of my weddings I photograph are typically in the greater Denver area, including the mountains.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS?

I started photography professionally in June of 2019 and decided to take the leap into weddings in April of 2022. Additionally, I have over 10 years worth of knowledge and experience in the foundations of photography (i.e. lighting, composition, camera settings).

From photographing friends’ graduation shoots and birthday parties, to the countless trips to the mountains, beaches, and cities for landscape photography - I love it all.

I’ve done my best in taking all my prior knowledge and applying it to each wedding I’ve had the honor of photographing. And I’ve learned just how much thought, planning, and honest hard work goes into a successful wedding day. It’s become a labor of love, and a joy to capture the celebration.

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?

I strive for an honest, authentic, and candid look for all of my couples. I understand that being in front of the camera can be awkward, but it doesn’t have to result in ego death lol I work to make sure everyone is comfortable in front of the lens. Whether it’s giving encouragement, or prompting your partner to scandalously whisper favorite cereal names into your ear. Ultimately, having fun and feeling like your true self is what makes for great photos, and that’s what I aim for : )

TYPICALLY FOR HOW LONG DO WE NEED A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I’ve found that capturing the essence of the day starts with the bridal prep / getting ready, and goes until everyone hits the dance floor- or basically, after your last planned event of the night. This typically ranges from 8-10 hours. Every couple I work with gets me for the whole day, so there’s no worry about adding coverage.

HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN WE EXPECT TO RECEIVE?

It depends on a variety of factors, but mainly it’s how many hours I am present for the day. The longer the day, the more photos likely to be included in your gallery. Typically my couples receive anywhere from 400-700 photos.

Engagement sessions typically produce between 60-100 photos.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE THE PHOTOS?

Your finished gallery will be available within 6-8 weeks. A preview will be sent to you within 1 week. Engagements are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks.

WHY IS IT SUCH A LONG TURNAROUND TIME?

To be transparent, there’s a tremendous amount of work that goes into prepping, editing, and delivering these photos. Every image receives a high quality edit, color correction, skin softening, and any teeth whitening / blemish correction as needed. You deserve clean looking photos, and that’s what I strive to deliver.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE?

A deposit of 25% is needed to secure your wedding date and my services. Final payment is due 30 days before the wedding.

DO YOU OFFER PRINT SERVICES?

Not currently, but I’m hard at work behind the scenes on integrating a print shop into this website. For now, it’s still extremely easy to use a print shop like SHUTTERFLY or MPIX to get your photos printed and framed for an affordable price.
